The Energy Champion Awards recognize leaders and organizations advancing New Hampshire's energy goals. Honoring individuals and entities that make exceptional contributions that champion for the Granite State's energy future, the awards aim to motivate and inspire others. Nominate a peer, colleague, for profit or non-profit organization, or agency partner. Self nominations are also encouraged.
SMALL BUSINESS ENERGY CHAMPION: A for-profit or non-profit organization (with under 100 employees) that demonstrates excellence in the energy industry in New Hampshire.
LARGE BUSINESS ENERGY CHAMPION: A for-profit or non-profit organization (with over 100 employees) that demonstrates excellence in the energy industry in New Hampshire.
COMMUNITY ENERGY CHAMPION: A county, municipality, or a school district committed to sustainable energy practices and advocating for energy-saving upgrades to local communities or educational institutions.
ELECTED OFFICIAL ENERGY CHAMPION: An elected individual who demonstrates leadership in the transition to a sustainable energy future.
YOUNG PROFESSIONAL ENERGY CHAMPION: An individual (age 40 or under) who has made exceptional accomplishments in energy - whether through an innovative project, a socially impactful initiative, or work that has significantly moved the needle in the energy space.
PROJECT OF THE YEAR ENERGY CHAMPION: Recognizes projects that exemplify what a 21st century energy system looks like in action. Eligible projects must demonstrate successful execution across any sector within the energy domain and must have been completed between January 2025 to the 2026 nomination close date.
